Does it matter that these are from Brazil and probably speak and sing in Portuguese and not Spanish?

Portuguese and Spanish are so closely related, the typical English speaking southern-American won’t be able to tell the difference. The written languages are very similar but the pronunciation is what really makes the languages so different. I highly doubt many fans of SG music can tell any difference though. I just said I was thankful for my education in Spanish because I can pick out a lot of what they are singing about. 😉
