1. Cheer The Weary Traveler (The Kingsmen from Missing People) – This is a new recording of the old convention song.? The Kingsmen keep their roots, as evidenced here, while also branching out a little farther on their new release from Horizon Records.

2. He Will Remember Me (Archie Watkins from Pouring Out Blessings) – This Lance Carpenter tune from Archie Watkins is his first solo release since retiring from The Inspirations.

3. I Heard About A Stone (Kevin Spencer Family from Some Dawning) – This is a Southern Gospel classic from the Kevin Spencer Family.? This was one of the family’s biggest songs.

4. Roll Back River Jordan (Mark Trammell Trio from Love To Tell The Story) – From the debut project of the group, this was one of my favorites from the album.? It was also the very first song that I heard live from the group at one of their debut concerts.? It’s a good one.

5. Some Of These Days (Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver from Gospel Parade) – Barry Scott shows his piano prowess on this “Bluegrass” tune.? This entire album is a gem, but this song really stands out on the project.

6. This World Is Not My Home (Daybreak Quartet from Hymns) – Another song with great piano accompaniment.? ? With reviews of the group here, here & here, I felt there was nothing left to say in a review.? It’s a great project from an up and coming group.
