YouTube.com & Southern Gospel music

YouTube.com has apparently become a big resource for Southern Gospel video clips.? Bloggers everywhere are linking to clips found on YouTube and I think it’s a great tool.? I do question the legality of posting live performances on the site, but until the feds put a stop to it, I say enjoy the videos while you can.? Being surrounded by mostly Bluegrassy concerts, it’s nice to see real Southern Gospel concerts online, even if it is in 2-3 minute segments.?

Kyle Boreing (www.southerngospelview.com) has posted some interesting video clips of The Cathedral Quartet with Kurt Young “singing” tenor for the group here:

Dinana of the Singing News forums has uploaded several video clips here:

hoover4000 has almost 1000 videos uploaded here:

I’m sure there are many more that you can find by doing a simple search.?

Ahh…….maybe even I can dig through some of my old videos and upload clips myself.? If I do, I’ll be sure to let you know.

In another year or so after my kids get a little older, my traveling days will resume and I can start attending concerts within a 200-300 mile radius, but until then, YouTube is sure to be an outlet that I will utilize ( especially since the site is no longer blocked where I work…… 🙂 )
