You may ask why the excitement over a song being singled?!?!?
This track from Legacy Five’s latest release (excluding their Friday Night Favorites table project, of course) is by far the strongest song I have heard in a long time. I can still remember the first time that I heard the song.? I had downloaded the album from iTunes and put it straight onto my iPod.? I wear my iPod while doing my yardwork, so I waited until that afternoon to listen to the album while mowing my lawn.
The first few tunes from the project were good, not great to me, but good.? Then Glen Dustin took off on this song and I had to stop working.? It’s not often that I have a Holy Ghost spell outside of a church, but this song really stirred something inside of me.? In fact, I still feel the same way everytime I listen to this song all of these months later.
I was in shock when I heard that Strike Up The Band was the first release from the recording.? I thought it was one of the weaker songs and I doubted that “I Have Been Changed” would even be released.? Imagine my surprise yesterday while listening to an online radio broadcast from www.joyfm.org when I heard the brief song introduction by Roger Bennett and then Glen taking the lead on this song.
I immediately contacted Legacy Five’s office to confirm that this song had been singled.? Here is the reply I received:
Adam,
I know that song will be our next single release — so if you heard it — it must have happened!? I know it was to happen soon!
It’s a great song — to be sure!
Blessings,

Keep your ears open the next time you are listening to Southern Gospel radio.? If you’ve never heard this song, you’d better buckle up when you hear it for the first time.
